Important information about Power Vision support for 2020 Harley Davidson Touring models:
- The 2020 Harley-Davidson Touring models utilize a new software level in the ECM. The new software level (942) has provisions to effectively manage the Reflex Defense Rider System (RDRS), as such the throttle control routines are now different. The methods that were previously used to alter the throttle behavior on earlier software levels are no longer effective at this time. We will continue looking into this condition to determine what, if anything, can be done to change the throttle control on software level 942 applications. For tuning purposes ONLY “Torque Based Electronic Throttle Control (TB-ETC) can be turned off temporarily to calibrate the VE tables, but must be turned back on for normal operation. While this feature is switched off the bike WILL trigger Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) while tuning. Once you turn TB-ETC back on, you will need to clear those DTCs.
